"There's nothing better than seeing a student light up when they finally nail a fill or beat that they have been working on for weeks. My approach to teaching is to keep lessons fun and
purposeful. I believe in inspiring students through my genuine passion for music."
Lucas has been playing and teaching professionally for over 15 years. He earned his Associate's Degree in Percussion from Musician's Institute in Hollywood CA in 2009, where he studied under world famous teachers including Fred Dinkins, Stewart Jean, Chuck Silverman, Donny Gruendler, Ray Luzier, Glen Sobel. He has played and written with bands all over southern CA at some of theworld's top venues, in bands of all styles.
